چکیده

The epoch of the end of reionization and the Thomson optical depth to the cosmic microwave background depend on the power spectrum amplitude on small scales and on the ionizing photon emissivity per unit mass in collapsed halos. In this paper is investigated the role of the radiative feedback effects for the temporal evolution of the ionizing emissivity. It is shown that the observational constrains on hydrogen photo-ionization rate based on Ly-α, Ly-β and Ly-γ Gunn-Peterson troughs and an electron optical depth consistent with the latest CMB measurements requires an emissivity of ∼10 ionizing photons per baryon and Hubble time at z = 6. Through E-mode CMB polarization power spectrum measurements, is expected that Planck experiment will have the sensitivity to distinguish between different histories of stellar evolution.

Searching For Integrated Sachs-Wolfe Effect Beyond Temperature Anisotropies: CMB E-mode Polarization-Galaxy Cross Correlation

The cross-correlation between cosmic microwave background (CMB) temperature anisotropies and the large scale structure (LSS) traced by the galaxy distribution, or sources at different wavelengths, is now well known. This correlation results from the integrated Sachs-Wolfe (ISW) effect in CMB anisotropies generated at late times due to the dark energy component of the Universe. In a reionized un...

Model-independent Constraints on Reionization from Large-scale Cmb Polarization

On large angular scales, the polarization of the CMB contains information about the evolution of the average ionization during the epoch of reionization. Interpretation of the polarization spectrum usually requires the assumption of a fixed functional form for the evolution, e.g. instantaneous reionization. We develop a model-independent method where a small set of principal components complete...

Cosmological reionization after WMAP: perspectives from PLANCK and future CMB missions

The WMAP first year detection of a high redshift reionization through its imprints on CMB anisotropy T and TE mode angular power spectra calls for a better comprehension of the universe ionization and thermal history after the standard recombination. Different reionization mechanisms predict different signatures in the CMB, both in temperature and polarization anisotropies and in spectral disto...

Radiative effects by high-z UV radiation background: Implications for the future CMB polarization measurements

The radiative effects by high-redshift ultraviolet radiation background (UVB) heats the gas in the IGM and eliminate the neutral hydrogen and helium that dominate the cooling of the primordial gas. We investigate the role of the radiative effects for the temporal evolution of the reionization fraction by using cosmological Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) simulations. We find that the increa...

Primordial Gravitational Waves and Inflation: CMB and Direct Detection With Space-Based Laser Interferometers

The curl-modes of Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) polarization probe horizon-scale primordial gravitational waves related to inflation. A significant source of confusion is expected from a lensing conversion of polarization related to density perturbations to the curl mode, during the propagation of photons through the large scale structure. Either high resolution CMB anisotropy observations ...
